Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Michael Van Wagenen for the World War II Homefront Oral History Project of the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies at Brigham Young University on 9 Oct. 1991. Mangelson recalls his early life in Utah. He talks about life during World War II including his various work experiences in Independence, Missouri, at the Remington Arms plant, and as a state chemist. He also comments on the impact the war has had on his life.
